I've been reading a lot, lately, about cosmology. But it's been haphazard . . . not a directed effort. This one video covers the most relevant points needed to grasp the basics of contemporary cosmology. It's too bad he didn't have enough time to cover all the material he had prepared.

Hmmph. I just spent the entire night writing a paper and not sleeping at all, so I'm slightly loopy. I wanted to check out the video and while waiting, scrolled down to read some of the comments. The first one started "Some years ago I had a conversation with a layman about flying saucers" and then I read that it was by Richard Feynman. I did a double-take before remembering I'd installed the Feyntube Greasemonkey script that turns all youtube comments into Feynman quotes. Weird moment.

Anyway, this looks interesting, thanks!

man , you poor thing. I will know how you feel soon, II have to stop smoking the weed, it fucks up my already mixed up brain. Have know for years about the side effects.

donna gave me an option 15 years ago, stop drinking or me and weans leave, so I stopped and have not had a drink since, I see the same thing happening wih the weed now, its only a matter of time, however I would love to stop it myself without being forced. being honest, its the only way I wil stop.
