Well this story starts around a year before the 2014 World Cup, a small TV channel interviewed a seer and, on this interview(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m1RtVDNsQ9g), he claimed that Brazil would lose the world cup, that Germany would be the winner and that the other two winners, 2nd and 3rd places, would be Netherlands and Argentina, he also said that Neymar "might" not play on the finals due to an expulsion.
The world cup happened and...Well, you know what happened...
And after that, the media went into a short lived frenzy of interviewing mediums and seers asking for them to make predictions of things like the result of elections, catastrophes, economy and etc. One in which was Brazil's the most famous seer, who supposedly predicted several disasters and has several letters that he claim to have sent to the authorities of several countries warning them of impending disasters, for example, the disaster on Fukushima, the plane crash at the Congonhas airport in São Paulo, and the plane crash that killed one of the candidates for presidency of Brazil in the 2014 elections(Eduardo Campos), on this show (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWYtiLGa7Ts) he claimed that yesterday (26/11/2014) a plane full of passengers would crash at the Paulista Avenue in São Paulo, according to him, the plane would hit the buildings on its way down and that there would be a high death toll, according to him, he was telling that in order to prevent the plane crash.
The repercussion of this "prediction" of his was an impressive demonstration of how people are still quite superstitious, his predictions included the flight number, destination and exact hour of departure and crash, knowing this, several passengers of that flight canceled their flight, the company, TAM, that owned the jet changed the plane that would be used on that flight, made an extra maintenance check twice and slightly changed the departure hour, meanwhile at the place where the crash would take place, several people didn't showed up for work, other avoided the avenue, and of course, all of the media was there, some broadcasting live, waiting to a plane to crash into the avenue.(and here the result http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l0m3FYUy2es).
Sorry i couldn't find any video with English subtitles and that system that Youtube has to convert peoples speech into words doesn't really work....
