Interesting articles, I commented on a couple of them. I dont think religious or atheist groups have a place in our public schools, children go to school to learn based on a standard curriculum and any extra interests they may have should be conducted outside of school or with parents. If you allow one group you run into a problem that is not easily solved.

I see what you're saying. In the Illinois example, it is curious that with a different word or two in the description, it wouldn't be atheist at all, but just philosophical, or at best, skeptical.

Well then we would be adopting the tactics of the creationist, you know, by calling creationism intelligent design. Its just a play on words and we should be past that.
