So although his earlier explanation of The Higgs Boson particle is correct(minus the emphasis on the god particle bit), from there he goes into crazy woo.

Be very skeptical when anyone starts with "I have put forth the notion".

The Higgs Bosen particle has nothing to do with proving or disproving the existence of god. It's essentially a particle that if detected will help explain the origin of mass in the universe. It's existence is predicted in the standard model of particle physics, but it has never been experimentally detected. Scientists are hoping to detect it using the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). The media started using term "God Particle" because it presumably gets more hits then the term Higgs Bosen Particle.

However, the websites you were looking at sounds like a bunch of pseudo science dressed up in scientific terminology. In other words, a bunch of bull shit.

Haha! Yeah it confused me. So this particle hasn't been found yet? Its just something that scientist wish would exist?

That's correct. It has not been detected. But it's not exactly something they wish exists. They are predicting its existence based on current mathematical models. They have very good reasons to think it exists, but it just hasn't been detected or observed. There are models in particle physics that don't include the Higgs Boson particle. The LHC is expected to either prove or disprove the existence of the Higgs Boson particle. If the the Higgs Boson is detected in LHC experiments then the standard model will be complete. If it's not detected then some other model will need to be proposed that accounts for mass generation without the use of a Higgs Boson particle.

The same thing happened with the neutrino, for example. Wolfgang Pauli predicted its existence based on mathematical calculations and, years later, it was actually discovered.

Oh, and the website is just a pile of crap. There is no such thing as quantum jumping, at least not with the meaning proposed by the site.
