Hi there, everyone.

I need to tell you about the first lie.

You are not God.

Seems obvious. I am a human. I live a human life which is fragile and temporary. I have human powers which make me normal among my other humans. Some humans have more powers than others, some less, but we are all human and all humans are equal.

God is incredible! God is everything? God is love...how does that work? God is the greatest ultimate so therefore, God is. God is apart from us; in another dimension; unreachable without extreme devotion; untouchable; unseeable; unknowable bladity blah.

So clearly, I am not God.

I dare you to pose a question.

What is God?

How could a God exist in the cosmos? How could a God exist and survive on Earth? How could a God function?

God is all powerful within God's own domain.
God is all knowing within God's own domain.
God is fully existent within God's own domain.
God need not deal with the minor events within God's own domain.
God cares about the most important things within God's own domain.

Now, transpose "God is" with "I am" and "God's" with "my."

I am all powerful within my own domain.
I am all knowing within my own domain.
I am fully existent within my own domain.
I need not deal with the minor events within my own domain.
I care about the most important things within my own domain.

What is God's own domain? What is my own domain?

Supposedly, God's own domain is the entire cosmos.
My own domain is my own body.

What happens when God's own domain is threatened? God defends it! The ultimate God will destroy all pretenders to the throne.

What happens when my own domain is threatened? I defend it! I will never willingly allow another to affect my domain without my consent.

I could go on, but I have faith :) this is enough to realize, Thou art God.

In other words; I am God, you are God, everything which controls its own domain is God.

Become the God you would willfully worship.

Hi Tom.
My childhood experience with Catholicism came through my lapsed Catholic and well Catholic schooled father. He realized it is BS and told me through subtlety instead of blatant atheism.
It took me discussing atheism for him to adopt the label.
I am happy to hear you saw the bigger picture and found your way to freedom from an oppressive God concept.
