It's an odd conversation to have, but there it is, would I rather live in a universe with the God of the Bible or The Doctor from Doctor Who?

It's the kind of argument I find myself getting into with nerds of the religious variety.

It's a Pros and Con's thing for me.

 

The Doctor

Cons:
Changes faces so often you aren't sure who you are talking to.

Is occasionally moody and distant.

Has destroyed entire races of lifeforms.

Sometimes a bit of a warmonger.

Is so old that he's gotten hard to relate to.

Has moral code separate from those he consorts with.

 

Pros:

T.A.R.D.I.S.

Occasionally Sexy

Funny

Very smart and love to learn new things.

While he has a tendency to favor female companions males have also been along for the ride.

Understands that death is a part of life and part of what makes life so beautiful is how brief it is.

Really likes humanity.

Snazzy Dresser

Always tries to let people make the right choice first.

 

God

Cons:

Changes faces so often you aren't sure who you are talking to.

Is occasionally moody and distant.

Sometimes a bit of a warmonger.

Is so old that he's gotten hard to relate to.

Has moral code separate from those he consorts with.

Demands that you never question him

Forces an eternity of immortality on you where you are either suffering or existing while others are eternally suffering.

Doesn't really have much love for the ladies.

Homophobic

Doesn't really seem to care much for the kiddos.

His companions are insufferable dickwads.

 

Pros:

Water into wine.
