This quote comes from a site i was reading on a theists answer to Cain's wife

Cain was in the first generation of children ever born. He, as well as his brothers and sisters, would have received virtually no imperfect genes from Adam or Eve, since the effects of sin and the Curse would have been minimal to start with. In that situation, brother and sister could have married (provided it was one man for one woman, which is what marriage is all about, Matthew 19:4–6) without any potential to produce deformed offspring.

According to this, the "curse" is at it's weakest so incest was ok because it would be free of deformaties. But the way i think about it, is if there was really a "curse" it would be at its strongest when it is put on them and would water down as time went on.....Like if i have black paint and add a little white to it each day it would eventually turn grey. Am i wrong in this thought process? Am i missing something here?

Yea, I agree. I thought that was the whole point of original sin: It's original. People born today shouldn't be more guilty of the sin Eve herself committed when they have never even seen the forbidden fruit, let alone eaten it.

I like the use of "genes" as a buzzword in the hopes that throwing in some scientific terminology will validate the claim.

I've looked around this site...and it's amazing the lengths they go to to make their information look true......Especially their explanation for carbon dating and dinosaurs.

The old testament. A lament from a masochist? I.E. - I'm so bad just because I'm me?

Wow, that was a rediculous article Radu. I think that deserves its own post.

The part you're missing is the flawed premise of Adam & Eve. Once you throw out the implausible, the remaining contradictions will reflect the truth.

Ha Ha, Genes can't deform on first use. That's like saying you can't get pregnant on the first time.
