Designated as Veterans Day in 1954, Nov. 11 is the day Allied powers signed a cease-fire agreement with Germany in 1918, ending World War I.

Coming from a military family, Veteran's Day is important. Thanks, everyone.
@Morgan - That monument is in Alabama, of all places. There's a celebration held there every 4th of July.
