many Christians will argue that their faith provides them with an objective morality. but why when you examine their objective basis for morality does it appear to have changed so much, even over short periods of time?
Jerry Coyne has some links and opinions on recent pieces by both Christopher Hitchens and Sam Harris on the whole "Ground Zero Mosque" business. on that subject, the Center for Inquiry seems to have blown it with their recent piece on the "Mosque."

I've barely started reading the sunday school links..but had to stop and say 'great piece on CFI seems to have blown it'.... This is what I LOVE about critical thinkers..they have no problems tagging ANYONE who gets out of line or misses the mark. Just like the recent exposure of academic fraud by Harvards Mark Hauser.... critical thinkers POINTED IT OUT and brought it to light. Critical thinkers don't protect the institutions...they protect something MUCH MORE VALUABLE 'critical thinking'.

@Wesley: absolutely agree with you there! nothing is sacred because, well, nothing IS sacred! :)
and the whole Hauser affair shows that science is self-correcting and makes plain, therefore, its greatest power.
