great stuff, I would reword the name of the Dr. Krauss page on skepchic though. the doctor responds and has a good conversation with the poster, so the name shouldn't be so caustic sounding.

<shrug> it's not my characterization. that's why i put quotes around it. that's the title of the post at the link.
i edited it to disclaim the characterization to make sure no one thinks i'm necessarily saying that about Dr. Krauss.

That Psychology Today article on Misinformation once again quotes that NON statistic that atheists are under represented in prisons, the famous .2% stat. There are no such such studies, people quoting this number are parroting a bunk personal correspondence from an ex-prison official. From a rational sceptical perspective, it would be awfully nice if our own side stopped this misinformation. If we had a prize for least substantiated stat ever presented in favour of atheism that one would win.
