Thanks for all the nods Johnny. I had seen that Dennet had done the interviews but hadn't read any of the interviews yet. I like the joke "Anybody who goes through seminary and comes out believing in God hasn’t been paying attention." That will be going into my paraphrasing file for a future discussion I'm sure.

@ Gaytor: i love that quote too! Dennett included the quote in his AAI talk from last year where he described the research he was doing into unbelieving clergy. i loved the quote immediately. it reminds me of something Hans Konzelmann said: "The church lives on the fact that modern research about Jesus is not known amongst the public."

The "Just let everyone into heaven. Who is going to know?" link isn't working for me, it keeps saying "problem loading page" and timing out... and I'd really like to be able to click it, especially since multiple people are saying they love it.
