Suggestion to the developers of Think Atheist

Instead of sending the updates to our mailboxes why don't you design a way to send them straight to our homepages? This will make access to them more relevant and immediate. Plus it will spare the email.
It'll be much better, something like facebook or twitter. We'd love to follow our friends and have all their feeds collect on our homepages. This way the homepage itself is going to be much more interactive, updated and with better use of the available space.

I'm not entirely sure if this is possible? That might be something which Ning controls.

Then again, I could be talking nonsense. Does someone who knows what they're talking about wish to contribute? Haha.

Ya, it is a bit of a pain getting all the emails. I try to hit the "don't follow me" buttons when possible, but about 75% of my emails are from TA

You can change your personal settings to not be automatically subscribed to things on which you have commented.

My Page > Email Notifications > Activity > "Email me when there is new activity..." > uncheck "On items I comment on"

You can also disable lots of other notifications, or disable email notifications entirely.

I don't get ANY email notifications. If I wanna know what's up in the community, I log in.
