Never has my family been Catholic and I'm only 1/4 Irish at most... but I'll be damned if St. Patty's isn't one of my favorite holidays of the year. My first real celebration of St. Patty's Day was shortly after I broke up with a live in girlfriend of mine in 2003. I made the decision to schedule the day off work and met up with a few friends under the warm Arizona sun. Once the music began my troubles seemed to melt away and by nights end my 'spirit' had been completely renewed. I made the decision then to celebrate every St. Patty's Day and have done so without fail. This year I'm really looking forward to letting loose especially with my impending divorce looming.

This year I'll be attending Flogging Molly at Tempe Town Lake. I've got myself two tickets and high hopes of finding a fun date for a day of pandemonium and revelry. Red Dragon!

Aye, and begorha, tis Saint Pattie's day ye be a celebrating. Tis said that an Irishman is the only man who'd step over the bodies of 15 naked women, just to get to a bottle of stout!
