How do you deal with someone civilly when you're being forced to see them and they don't deserve someone being civil to them?

How can you calmly schedule meetings with a person that you never want in your life again?

How can you follow through with those meetings without snapping?

How do you spend an entire day, two days a month, with a person you'd rather just slap across the face?

How can you be nice to someone who has been a huge jerk to you?

How can you pretend that you've never been hurt when you're facing the person who hurt you, when all you're doing is poking the wound?

How do you go on, smiling nicely and calmly when all you want to do is scream at the top of your lungs and stop your feet like a child throwing a tantrum?

How can you be mature and grown-up when you want to be childish and petty?

Avoid those who are vexations to the spirit!

Buy a punching bag and do a one hour session just before each meeting.

Seriously, being forced into the company of an individual who physically makes you ill is a test of one's intestinal fortitude. There are no easy answers. Take a good book or music player w/ you and tune them out. You can physically be there but your mind doesn't have to be.

Hire a stuntman to take your place for that day, they won't know the difference.
