Thanks for posting this. I recently started reading "C Street: The Fundamentalist Threat To American Democracy", and am appalled yet not entirely surprised to find just how entrenched religion is within the entirety of our government.

It is disgusting, to say the least.

I am just trying to pass the word. It is ridiculous that the Bush administration decided to fund Christian organizations to help society. Rather than funding religious institutions that help people only to teach them the gospel, the money should go to organizations that help people regardless of religious belief. Religious organizations already have the benefit of being a non-profit organization even though they make profits that rival many corporations. Perhaps more money should go to individuals that need the money instead of going into a fund used to prosyltize people. If these organizations are receiving government funding there should be no discrimination as to who receives the assistance or to the people that want to provide that assistance.
