To believe or not to believe is a very personal matter. In west people don't bother about our beliefs until or unless we start preaching our ideas forcefully.
In Pakistan its totally different. For example if i am sitting outside my home & reading a book & there is a prayer time every passer-by will ask me to join him in prayer. He'll also tell me some Hadiths about prayer & if i don't join him he ll tell other people & they all will curse me.

Now a days most of Pakistani Mullahs are issuing fatwas against non believers live on TV .

Atheism which is called Ilhaad in Urdu is spreading very quickly in Pakistan because most of liberal & secular people revealing the problem of religious societies . Problems of Cilaphat era are discussed widely because there was no freedom of expression at that time. One who made any comment against the caliph during the golden period of Islam he was deserted.

As we know in all parts of islamic world every muslim demands Sharia Quranic law which is totally inhuman & immoral & it is also against the modern culture & society. We are doing huge campaign on social media against this.

Few days back a famous islamic scholar threatened my atheist friend live on Tv he called his name & said that he is running blasphemous pages on social media.
Last night Tahreek-e-Taliban Jamaat-ul-Ahrar Pakistan who is running a page on social media threatened Atheist free thinkers and issued a fatwa that all Pakistani Atheist would be traced & followed all over the world.

All Atheist would be killed & they have issued the lists of our names & pages.

We got scared most of us are still in Pakistan i hope they will stay safe in future i advised all of them not to show their picture to anyone.

As i got up in the morning i checked my twitter. A tweet named @ISlam_Updats tagged me that threats as well we all reported that account now its been blocked. But there is a huge wave of grief among all free thinkers.

As i discussed before cyber criminal law is fully active at the moment & we all free thinkers condemn this law & threats from Tahreek-E-Taliban Jamaat-ul-Ahrar.

When I read stories like this it reminds me that those of us who grew up and live in cultures where religion is not taken all that seriously must not take it for granted. I'm sorry for your troubles.

Thanks sir
I am in EU but my many fellows are still there they are facing too much trouble due to the cyberbill which banned the freedom of expression. We hope for their best .

We are so lucky. A humanist continent where religion has no meaningful advantage and where no one can threaten violence against me for any reason...and get away with it. Free from religion. Freedom of voice, ideology, sexuality, inequality, arbitrary justice... The world has never seen such a free thinking and humane place in all of its shocks me that young people have no clue how good they have it.

I mourn for you and your friends. You show so much courage and are in serious danger protecting important ideas of human autonomy...and not just religion but sexism, homophobia, spousal abuse, child brides etc. Its heartwarming that the face of considerable violence...still work to stand up for the voiceless...either those in Pakistan or in exile.

Do you imagine things might get better this decade?
