Questioning the mental health of some Christians

We may need to call the psych ward for this poor man. Pat Robertson thinks he's aware of dealings between Haiti and a fictitious monster.

Additionally, his words are wholly inconsistent with some of his own plagiarized deity's most important teachings - according to Pat, Haiti is cursed not only because of a pact with the devil, but also because it's poor. However, Matthew 5:3 says "Blessed are the poor..."

So which is it? Shall we get some straight answers by asking Thor, Zeus, Ra, or FSM instead? Putting the questionable nature of that passage aside, I have one question you already know the answer to: Is that kind of inconsistency so commonplace that it can be overlooked on a daily basis by all the sheeple who believe this seemingly looney, certainly hate mongering prick?

My impression of him is he is a very accomplished liar. When you watch the video of him he claims the Haitians got together and made a pact with the devil. "...and they said, 'We will serve you if you will get us free from the French'. True story...."

That "True story" that he adds is because he knows he is making a big claim. He drops it in with such ease. Like he's used to doing this all the time. He's very slick.

What's scary is that people actually follow this lunatic. Surely he doesn't even believe what he is saying... he is an opportunist looking out for his own interests. Media stunts like this are what gives him money and other benefits. He always does this. This is how he stays fresh in the limelight. Without misery and suffering and lying, he is nobody. It's all connected to the bottom line for these evangelico (mis)leaders.
