OK, we've all heard the Christian call that only through Jesus can you gain salvation and enter Heaven. We all know that this is an empty and pointless claim, yet looking solely at the Christian faith, do they even have good reason to state this? I wager that they don't. If you ask many Christians if they think if Moses, Job, Noah, etc are in Heaven or deserving of it, I'm sure may would say they should. After all, they were great champions of their God. But they came before Jesus, so they didn't know of him nor could they have accepted him at that time. Okay, so maybe they aren't. But wait... The Bible tells of Enoch and Elijah entering Heaven with never even dying. Same story as before, pre-Jesus. But this time there is no question of where they are said to have gone. They went to Heaven without Jesus! So where does that leave their claim? Surely they'll claim the requirements are somehow different now. But we know that we traped them in yet another contradiction and logical shortfall. Who knows... Maybe they'll grow to accept Jews more, or realize that actions matter more than obedience. Sure, it's a long shot but a guy can dream can't he.
