OK, we've all heard the Christian call that only through Jesus can you gain salvation and enter Heaven. We all know that this is an empty and pointless claim, yet looking solely at the Christian faith, do they even have good reason to state this? I wager that they don't. If you ask many Christians if they think if Moses, Job, Noah, etc are in Heaven or deserving of it, I'm sure may would say they should. After all, they were great champions of their God. But they came before Jesus, so they didn't know of him nor could they have accepted him at that time. Okay, so maybe they aren't. But wait... The Bible tells of Enoch and Elijah entering Heaven with never even dying. Same story as before, pre-Jesus. But this time there is no question of where they are said to have gone. They went to Heaven without Jesus! So where does that leave their claim? Surely they'll claim the requirements are somehow different now. But we know that we traped them in yet another contradiction and logical shortfall. Who knows... Maybe they'll grow to accept Jews more, or realize that actions matter more than obedience. Sure, it's a long shot but a guy can dream can't he.

No, that is wrong, my brother. Your salvation is through Lucy Pinder and Dani Woodward.

(Yeah, sometimes I like to talk in a highly intelligent argumentative discussions, sometimes I just like to fool around)

It is my understanding of the Christian beliefs that those who lived before Jesus did go to heaven once Jesus died on the cross. That was supposedly one of the reasons he had to die. His death opened the gates of heaven. So everyone during/after Jesus has this new burden of accepting him as God or they burn in hell. So it’s quiet unfortunate for those who live 30.A.D. and on. Lucky for us it’s all bullshit.
The real question I have for Christians is this – specifically Catholics who have ruled if someone has never heard of Jesus /never became a Christian …but lived a good life…. They can still go to heaven. So….how much knowledge of Jesus does someone have to mentally comprehend to make their souls liable. And if that is the case… it goes to reason that one of the worst things you could do to someone is spread the word of Jesus to them. By doing so you are now eliminating this ignorance is bliss and putting them on the spot to decide whether they accept the fairy tale or not. They would have been better off had you never told them. And then to what degree do they have to comprehend Jesus to make them liable. Does shouting the story of Jesus in 5 seconds at them make them liable? Does one sermon at church make them liable? Obviously Catholics/Christians never specifically address this issue. It does have relevance on Christian children who are indoctrinated into Christianity. At what point/age in a child’s education of Jesus do they become liable to decide?

Indeed, that's the answer I'd expect them to give. But I agree with you that it's absolute rubbish. But that's why I included Enoch and Elijah. The Bible doesn't say that they went up to the lobby of Heaven and waited for Jesus to eventually be sacrificed. Rather, they are said to be taken to Heaven alive. It's the answer they would give to that part that I'm not sure of.
