Once I have ascertained that someone is delusional, I put little value on what they say.  If they can't tell the difference between reality and fantasy, then everything is suspect.

I don't think him calling you girl and his religion are connected. He can be religious and a douche but I do not think he was calling you a girl because of his religion. I just think he calls females that. And frankly if you degrade yourself just because you are female and say you are trying to "overcome" being one, I would say that you seem a wee bit nutty. 

Please do not say all christians are assholes because I know that is not true. Most of my friends are one and they are only assholes when they push their religion onto others. As much as I disagree with their beliefs, thats not what makes them an asshole. Its the way they convey it

For the record I have Christian friends, and I do not think all of them are assholes. But he shied away from even discussing the subject and hid behind a personal attack. That behavior as far as I've seen is a pretty common tactic in creationist debaters as well.

Um... what makes you think that exercising and trying to get a hysterectomy and perhaps even testosterone substitution (both half-illegal and VERY expensive in my country) as a way to improve my health makes me 'a bit nutty'? Check out cmrlink.org - they have the most amount of peer-reviewed data on the differences between male and female humans. (Could have mentioned Simon Baron-Cohen's Essential Difference as well, but that book is more controversial/dubious in its data gathering than the CMR site.)

I agree with what so many others are saying here. Being female just means that like half of the human population you are genetically female. The truth is that the differencesbetween men and women are vastly exageratted, we are far more similar than different. I think the fact that he called you girl is insulting though since this means that he is making use of sexist discourse. Using terms like girl, baby, chick etc infantalises women and is therefore disrespectful. Although it is very likely that, like many men, he is simply a dick religion does propagate this type of male superiority.

I think you should take more pride in your womanhood.  Women rock.  He called you "girl" to piss you off.  I'm certain that he knew what he was doing.  He literally made an effort to 'get at' you and he succeeded.  Don't let truly inferior minds affect yours with their bullshit.  Obviously he needed to call you an inferior psycho to boost his ego, then leave before you could have a chance to say anything back.  Idiots love to get the last word....in fact, I wouldn't doubt if it was written into their gene pools that they had to get the last word.  lol....

Well it may have been a strategy of argumentation (or psychological self-defense; and a very bad one) in this particular case, but I don't think it is because of prejudice that women are in most countries excluded from infantry units.... just saying.
