Already laughing - as a former fundie I can't tell you how much damage the predecessor to "Left Behind" movies did to my generation of current & former believers - The Thief in the Night series.  Left Behind fans like to forget that the same scare tactics were used on a generation before them - and still no Rapture, Tribulation etc.  Suffice it to say - they WANT the end of the world to come - because pretty soon they won't be able to suppress many generations of embarrassing false alarms.

Thanks for passing this on - these scare tactics have to end.  Children growing up in these environments need to know that god doesn't care if you play video games, read your bible or pray.  This spiritual abuse is totally and completely unethical - and immoral.  Having grown up on my knees, begging God to not come before my entire large family (siblings) had been born-again - they have created a foe they shouldn't want to mess with.  I feared that I would be separated from my family forever.  I believed that my prayers help elect Reagan, Bush and Bush again.  This brain-washing and abuse of children HAS to stop!

This is absolutely ridiculous... I really am surprised they didn't use the movie guy voice over like Ryan referred to. I work at a movie theater and this would fit right in with some of the other horrible apocalypse movies. Oh wait, you can just pair this with "Knowing"!
