'Nose Hitting' Chip Bags - a nasal euphoria

OK, I admit I have a few odd habits I give myself the pleasure to delight in. One of which is the yearning to "nose hit" (a 70's hippy term) a just opened virgin bag of chips; preferably sour cream, doritos, or barbecue flavor Lays. I pull the plastic seal open only about two inches or so, cram my nose in, and immediately inhale deeply. So far I have avoided actually sucking a chip up my nose so it is quite exhilarating for just a moment.

Anyone else experience similar diseases of the brain?

My wife thinks pouring coca cola on vanilla ice cream and then scooping it up with potato chips is rude and offensive.   :^ )

Well, I used to believe in God, but I feel much better now.  :)

I do that 'nosehit' thing when I open a fresh can of coffee grounds. Mmmm

I have a thing for the smell of old books in a library. Anything else is illegal so not going to post it - lol.

I know exactly what you mean by the cellar must smell! My late grandma had a root cellar where she kept all her canned goods. When you first stepped inside that smell jumped right out at you. It was pleasant and not what one might call an odor. Quite the contrary....
