You are currently in our atheist community, the web is our domain, from here we organise, act, share and many many other things we do, however I am far to stoned to remember.

All the communitys you mentioned above have one thing in common, there all static, we have easily the biggest stage in which to grow, organise, act, share and make a difference to this fucked up world.

Well, the Bible Belt is not the result of religious people purposely moving to the area and then taking it over. It's just a term used to describe the very religious demographics of the states that are in the Bible Belt.

The gay community has their area of town because they worked thier asses off to gain enough acceptance to be able to exist openly and then they chose to all migrate to one part of town to open up gay themed and gay friendly businesses.

So, want an atheist community in real life that can be identified as an area of a city...open up an Atheist Pride store and get all your non-believer friends to move to the same area. But, the only reason Gays, Chinese etc have done this was because they had a social need to do so and were not accepted into the greater society when moving to the city....so they had to group together in one area.

Personally, I don't really see the need for having an atheist area in cities. I do, however, see a need for social groups for atheists (in addition to online communities) and most big cities already have established atheist/free-thought groups.
