New nanogenerator may charge iPods and cell phones with a wave of the hand

I wonder how long till we have hoover boards and a jacket that auto drys after being wet!! I truely believe the nano-tech revolution is the only thing that is going to stop America from becoming a sinkhole of debt. Let's just see if the politicians can keep their hands from our packets long enough for California and other tech centers to move rapidly.

This is a very interesting read. I agree that nano-tech has a bright future and that we have just scratched the surface of it's applications.

it's very interesting as a concept, but the article leaves me lost. They generate energy from mechanical stress. Ok, via static electricity, another source? I'm sure that they don't violate physics and "create" energy. Is the writer so far ahead mentally that he forgot this part or am I tool? It's a great find, i just want to know more. Share if someone knows.
