Ms. Beverly Hills 2010 Says That Homosexuals Should Be Killed...Because God Said So.

Lauren Ashley, self-proclaimed Miss Beverly Hill 2010, is picking up where Carrie Prejean left off in vocalizing her strong views on homosexuality. Ashley, who will be competing in November's Miss California pageant, spoke with Fox News on the subject:

"The Bible says that marriage is between a man and a woman. In Leviticus it says, 'If man lies with mankind as he would lie with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death and their blood shall be upon them.' The Bible is pretty black and white..."

"I feel like God himself created mankind and he loves everyone, and he has the best for everyone. If he says that having sex with someone of your same gender is going to bring death upon you, that's a pretty stern warning, and he knows more than we do about life."

The LA Times reports that the city of Beverly Hills was quick to disavow Miss Ashley:

In a statement Wednesday, the city said it was shocked by Ashley's description of herself as "Miss Beverly Hills." The city "does not sponsor a beauty pageant and has no association with Miss California USA," the statement said. "As such, there should be no individual claiming the title of Miss Beverly Hills."

The city's statement said Ashley lives in Pasadena and "does not represent Beverly Hills in any capacity."

High scores are all but guaranteed for personality, we will have wait to see how she scores in evening wear.

Upon further questioning regarding her statements, Ashley snapped back,"Because GAWD said so! That's why!"

Why pick and choose Ms. Ashley? After all, the Bible IS "black and white" about those things too.

This chick is neither hot or intelligent. "Because god said so" and "because the bible says so" are the weakest religion based arguments out there. This child obviously has a lot to learn.

Alright so you don't agree with the comments the beauty queen made, does that mean you submit yourself to calling her names. I can't seem to figure out who is worse here, the girl who stands up for what she believes, irrespective of the fact that she's going to be a cast out for it, or the ones who bashes her with the rest of the crowd. What she said isn't politically correct. But surely she's still a human being. Or would you rather pick out bible verse which suggest slavery, stoning, torture, blood sacrifice and totally ignore the way you're treating this current human being. The same wrongs many of you point out in the bible, you turn around and do it to this girl. hmmm...I don't know!!!This one's got be stumped bob!

No. However some of these fundies feel quite justified in killing gays. Not to mention the idea of all Athiests burning in thier hell with the gays. There is some fundie love for you! Is that better?
