Life is Most Certainly a Fragile Thing

Here we go again, my second blog post. Woohoo!!! Anywho, life as i'm sure you all will know, is in fact, fragile. I'm sure we all have lost friends and family, and the point of this blog post is that this has been on my mind lately. On April 18, 2012 one of my fellow classmates died in a car crash on the road right out in front of our school. It hit our school really hard, and the next couple days after it happened the hallways were completely silent. There was an odd beauty in the silence. That's the best way I can describe it, this tragedy had brought an entire school together. It didn't matter who hated who, we were all family after that. But on the other end of that, I also think it's strange that it takes something such as death to bring people together. The anniversary of her death is in the coming weeks and in honor of her we bought purple tassels for our caps and gowns for graduation this year and most of us have decals on our cars with her name, D.O.B and D.O.D. Anyway, I thank anyone who takes the time to read this short excerpt from my thoughts.

PS: I think i'm going to make that last sentence my official sign off or something, I like it, it has a nice ring to it I think. Take care all.

I think it is great that you are doing something in her honor. And it is sad that it takes death to bring people together.
