Several years ago there was a campaign to teach people that depression was an Illness, a disease, caused by physical factors and not just lack of willpower. Their slogan was: "recognize the illness". Maybe that should be the slogan for dealing with the conservative insanity that is rampant now. These people are obviously paranoid. Many are delusional, they are afraid of the boogie monster. Liberals are commie fascists (though the two are groups are diametrically opposed), intent on taking their possessions, their freedom, and their religion. The irrationality of their arguments, the illogic of their diatribes, the unreasonableness of their beliefs, the impossibility of the fears that they espouse; all speak to an underlying insanity. When we look upon the raving conservative we should recognize the illness, and offer treatment, maybe some of them will accept it. Surly they are not happy in their world of imminent Apocalypse.
