Austria - this small country with 8m people in the heart of europe - is still one of the catholic main quater in Europe. More than 80 % of its population consider thmeselves as catholic. Over the years there has been a number of debates about the role of religion in schools, justice (there are still cruzifies in court rooms) and public life. Religion is still playing an enourmous role in Austria's daily life. Media an politics still don't discuss the influence of religion in everybody's life. Thus, www.laizismus.at, in private initiative has been founded.
