Into the Mirror

Raising my head to see what is in the mirror

The face seems familiar but something has changed

Though the look in his eyes still have that glimmer

They are backed by an inquisitive hint of disappointment

The man in mirror the doesn't look sad as if he lost a friend

His expression carries the traces of he use to think was true

He can still imagine but the illusion of what was is fading fast

Like a parting dream or closing a book on fantasy and lore

The eyes staring back at me looking for the truth

Has he found the answers

Only time will tell
