Internship Seminar Comments and Suggestions!
Hello my lovely heathens!
I wanted to open up a space here to get some constructive criticism and suggestions on internship positions at Think Atheist. For those of you who don't yet know, I have become the first official Think Atheist intern, and have been helping Morgan out behind the scenes getting a lot of grunt work off the ground for the website. However, one of the goals I assigned to myself as a part of my work here was to help design a more dedicated internship program to possibly be implemented in the future, and I wanted to start working out laying out the framework for this program soon.
What I was wondering is whether any of you guys had any suggestions for what you would like to see as part of the program, or if there is anything I have been doing that you see room for improvement in. I would like to make the program as inclusive as possible, and any and all feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Hmm....
Morgan has done a lot of reference stuff for me. That's pretty cool. He wrote me letters of recommendation when I was job hunting. I have personally experienced a very real community here. The hours I spend at TA ARE rewarding offline and in the real world. In fact, I've got an interview today with the Bay Area ACLU, and I know that I'll be drawing upon a whole lot of knowledge I acquired at this site.
One of the things I'd like to see is more affiliation. What about individual members or interns acting as representatives for other projects/groups/nonprofits?
Hey.. what about paid positions?!
Can someone pay me to hang out on TA all day? ~puppy dog eyes~
Ok. That's probably a solid 'no' for the last one, huh?
