I know what you mean Robert. I wonder how many people wear the cross necklaces just out of habit or as a "fashion" statement.

This was not a fashion statement. I mean it was a) UGLY b) HUGE c) see a and b. He was screaming, look at me, I'm a christian.  But yes, it's an interesting thought that most likely most people wear it as a fashion thing and feel good about themselves because they get a jesus bonus for making it a cross.

People that aggressive take any comment (however reasoned/balanced/kind) as a chance to witness for their lord; they welcome the opportunity to prove their love/devotion. Opposition fuels their convictions. You didn't fail. He's failing himself.
