In honor of the supermoon and just for fun I thought I'd revive an incident that's personally relevant to us and can elicit a good laugh...
And, to quote Keith Olbermann, "MOON! TIDE MOON MAKE! MOON MAKE TIDE!"

Ugh, all week I've been reading gibberish in my Facebook feed about the effects of the Supermoon. Everyone is attributing every bout of insomnia, bad mood, and bout of indigestion to the "supermoon." I seriously was so tempted to ask them all what exact mechanism the moon was causing all of these things! The hype has just been so astrology-esque.
