I think ICP is trolling hard. Just like how Eminem and Marilyn Manson do songs just to get a reaction (the very definition of trolling), I think ICP knows full well what they're doing. Maybe I'm giving them more credit than they deserve, but I will not be easily trolled by grown men in clown make-up.

I believe you are over-thinking it, Galen. The fact that they are grown men in clown make-up should have been the first indicator that they are not exactly running at full mental capacity.

es, most of the miracles we mention can easily be explained away by science, that’s why we say the line “fuck scientists.” Their factual findings sometimes explain away the Earth’s cool mysteries. Part of me wishes they were lying. Part of me doesn't want to know how they really make crop circles. My imagination wants to believe it’s aliens or somethin’. If people can’t relate to that, then that’s their loss. I mean, seriously, it must truly suck to have no imagination about these things.

This is the problem. Not that people don't have some sense of awe or wonderment about the reality around them, but that they must imagine something more to make it wonderful. It's a total contradiction to say that we need to "try to appreciate some of these miracles, bitch", but then piss all over them by portraying them as something that they are not. That is not being appreciative, in my opinion. Quite the opposite.

I mean, seriously, it must truly suck to have no imagination about these things.

I would love to be a scientist. I think I am smart enough for it, but I always figured that I wasn't imaginative enough for it. To devise scientific experiments requires a very good imagination and it is a shame that most people don't realize that science isn't as dull as they think it is. And accepting reality as it is rather than what we wish it to be is the most honest form of appreciation one can exhibit.
