So these High School Cheerleaders write bible verses on the banner that the football team runs through before the game and the Freedom From Religion Foundation says that they can't do that because it promotes a particular religion which is unconstitutional.
Well first I'd like to say, let them do it.
Praying before a game or praying during school or other public places, that is something that shouldn't be going on. Because there those Christians are pretty much assuming that everyone present is a Christian or they simply don't care if you are a Christian or not, you will do as they say.
I guess I see it as the same as any student going to school with a cross necklace or a shirt from a church event. As long as they aren't forcing you to participate in their rituals or worship, then I don't have a problem with it.
I just find it funny that these Christians would get up in arms about someone burning a bible, but yet not see anything wrong with writing a bible verse on a banner and then have a football team rip right through it.
And another thing, I hope the team is undefeated. Cause if God truly is on their side, they should win every game with ease.
