Yes I totally want a personal relationship with god that is offended by me even though he was the one who created me in the first place and oh yeah even better yet he wants to forgive me for my offense! Makes total sense!

Why would I want to join a religion where I have to go through a middle man to talk to god when there are so many others that allow me to speak to god directly? Seriously, please develop a personal relationship with reality.

I love how we should be grateful and ask for forgiveness because "we offend him", when he's supposed to be responsible for our existence to begin with. "We offend him" offends me. Also, high-fives for doone.

I like how every time a new christian jumps onto the site they have to immediately proselytize and give the same sermon that was repeated to them by their minister. Hopefully by the end of today we could set a new record for refuting Paley's argument in the month of January! Derrick, we understand your arguments, your messages, your relationship with your god, but throwing up some unoriginal blog post about it is not enough to gain respect. Give us some real ideas that provoke a real discussion and you wont get our tired, canned responses about the given topic. The worst part is, you seem to think your message is somehow the most original thought provoking idea and thought, "Yeah, sure, I will convert SOOOOOO many people with this idea, I cant wait to spew this garbage out" but instead you just polarized everyone from coming to have a healthy discussion regarding any idea you now have and let's face it, your only purpose hear is to thinly veil your attempt to be condescending by using 'compassion', and everyone hear is not fooled by it. So try again when you have some substance.
