Well it's a new year (yes I know it's a bit late) and I guess I've just been procrastinating, so here is the list:

1) The new president does a serious public relations overhaul with the rest of the world. Get the rest of the world to accept Americans again and not see them as natural resource wasting and war hungry people. I am moving to Europe in March and I want to go into a pub and not have to tell them I am a Canadian. There's nothing wrong with being a Canadian but I would not be good at keeping up the lie under questioning. Also can he stop talking about Obama's race...It is not important!

2) Somebody shows up in Hollywood that knows how to tell a story with plot. No more relying one overpaid actors, or ridiculous special effects. An actual story, with plot and quality acting all around by all members of the cast. I really want to go to the cinema and feel good about spending my $10 and not thirty minutes through the movie start thinking, 'I've seen this before.' The worse was "I Am Legend," it was so hyped up and 30 minutes through it I was like, "This is a total ripoff of Omega Man with Charlton Heston!" Which I later learned was a remake of Vincent Price's "Last Man on Earth." You get the point? There is no originality.

3) Someone punishes that drivel peddlers like Stephenie Meyers who put out crap that becomes a pop culture icon. Few things, if you are going to put out a vampire series, don't throughout all the rules, they are anthropologically important. It's not like somebody just made them up, they have been around forever so you can't just disregard them. Also the worst part of everybody being twilight crazy, all here plot lines we've seen before in other books/movies. Really a war between Vampires and Werewolves...that hasn't been played out yet?

4) MTV starts playing music again and not wasting our time with drivel! VH1 just gives up and shuts down, unless they are going to go back to the old format where they did Behind the Music. The people behind American Idol find how appealing the open end of a .12 gauge shotgun is.

I think I'm done venting for now, but feel free to add your hopes for the new year.
