There are several that are quite good. Ricky Gervais, George Carlin, Bill Maher, but my favorite of the lot is David Cross.

In addition to those mentioned by Clint, there's Lewis Black (a favorite of mine), Eddie Izzard (another favorite), Adam Corolla, Julia Sweeny, Pat Condell, Janeane Garofalo, Billy Connelly, and you can't forget Tim Minchin.

I'm not sure that Bill Maher counts, though. He has, at times, stated that he is not an atheist. He's certainly anti-religion, but he may be closer to a deist or a pantheist than an atheist. From an interview in 2002: "I'm not an atheist. There's a really big difference between an atheist and someone who just doesn't believe in religion. Religion to me is a bureaucracy between man and God that I don't need. But I'm not an atheist, no. I believe there's some force. If you want to call it God... I don't believe God is a single parent who writes books" And from April 2009: "I'm not an atheist, though, because the belief that there is no God only mirrors the certitude of religion. No, I'm saying that doubt is the only appropriate response for human beings."
