Andrew Aitken "Andy" Rooney  (January 14, 1919 – November 4, 2011)

It is a sad day today to hear that Andy Rooney has passed away. I am 50 and have watched Andy Rooney pretty much since he joined 60 Minutes just about 30 years ago. What a witty, intelligent and wise man he was. It is with sadness in my heart to know we will not be blessed with his very different style of Journalism. I do wish his family well and send my thoughts out to them. I wish I could remember the one piece he did about government waste of our Tax Dollars, this was one of my favorites. Almost all of his work was very interesting and enjoyable if not also enlightening to watch.

I will miss those Eye Brows, his warm unique voice and his Andy Rooney Journalistic style.
