Good evening heathens!

I just thought I'd share a brief update for anyone that is interested:

Colin and I signed paperwork for legal marriage last month. Since then, we've decided to move on from the desert and get back towards some water.
I hear there are some great white sharks in the California area that might need some observation....:)
We are moving to the bay area next week.
Mum will be sending our drysuits via mail soon, and I must say I'm looking forward to it. We thought it would be a simple matter to pop down to Mexico and dive, but with his immigration paperwork the way it is at present time, nothing is certain enough for Colin to leave the country. He might not get back in. Plus, the area that's within our driving range is a little.. hostile right now. You think after years in scary countries, lil ol' Mexico wouldn't bother us.
Yeah. Well, street smarts means knowing what to avoid before you get into the trouble.
Right, seems like all this wine has gone to my head quicker than I thought it would, so I'll close before it becomes unintelligible.

Comment by Aric on February 16, 2010 at 12:49am: About a month ago, I heard that there were a ton of humboldt squid coming in close to the shore in California (I'm not sure where exactly). If they're still close to shore you should definitely check them out.
