I don't usually watch the Golden Globe Awards, but I caught Ricky Gervais's comment at the end. It was great!
"Thank God for making me an Atheist". I thought there would be a comment on the news about this, but there was not.
This is something I read on line, Ricky Gervais said;
"Why don’t I believe in God? No, no no, why do YOU believe in God? Surely the burden of proof is on the believer. You started all this. If I came up to you and said, “Why don’t you believe I can fly?” You’d say, “Why would I?” I’d reply, “Because it’s a matter of faith.” If I then said, “Prove I can’t fly. Prove I can’t fly see, see, you can’t prove it can you?” You’d probably either walk away, call security or throw me out of the window and shout, ‘’F—ing fly then you lunatic.”

Comment by T A A on January 18, 2011 at 4:13am Zero evidence of existence of god, that's enough for me. Zero evidence takes me past subjective on any topic. A simple shred, a mere smidgeon of evidence would create a possible subjectivity, but there isn't.
Atheist jokes are about the only thing I like about Ricky, his Nazi-Mel Gibson joke was awesome too.
