I'm not a big fan of making a big deal out of things that aren't big deals (like facebook), but I think he brings up a good point. I don't really understand people who friend people just to have a large number of friends. I only have somewhere around 105 friends. I used to have upward of 600, but then I got tired of seeing updates from people I didn't know, and don't really care about. So once a month, I go through my friends list, and clear it out of people I see no reason to be friends with. I don't think facebook is a bad thing is you use it just to keep in contact with people you actually know. I start to see a problem when people just friend anyone and everyone. But again, I don't think it'll be a big deal...

Mallory... what I first looked at this article, expecting it to predict a complete loss of privacy and societal melt-down or something like that. -Something more plausible-

However... instead what I got [if you read the article... you will see this about half-way down] was a statement that the Queen of England's decision to set up a facebook page was a fulfillment of prophesy as outlined in the book of Revelations.

 

Privacy crisis I can understand... but Revelations and the Queen of England... What? O_O
