Facebook Comments that make me Angry

So my younger sisters friend who is about 13 made this his facebook status the other day:

"if i met god face to face...there is only one thing i would ask....why? what would you ask?"

I was debating whether or not to answer and then I saw another person's response from someone I don't know, but still from an adult to not just a child, but SOMEONE ELSE'S child:

"read the torah...that's where all the answers are....if you believe, there are no questions...if your a non-believer, there are no answers"

Which surprised me on one count since it says Torah not Bible, and also just infuriated me because... honestly... how can you say that to a kid that isn't even yours? That there are no answers if you don't believe? Ugh.

I just had to rant about that briefly before continuing my day.

You can't get angry! You are obligated to respect this person's faith. Their strong faith in the face of hard evidence to the contrary demands your utmost respect!

@Apple: Hahah. Woops, My bad, you are correct. I should be happy that these people found the strength to believe in something that brings them happiness in this time of crisis and are spreading it to little chidlren, especially when I am so weak and can't do it myself. I'm jealous really, that's my problem.{/sarcasm}

@Bryan Sullins: I don't think I'd have a problem with it if it wasn't saying this directly to a friend of the family's little kid.

Can you imagine how dull a world without questions would be? I feel bad for people who think that way. Or should I say, don't think that way?

Well, if that "child" is putting their questions and opinions out there on the world stage of the Internet for all to see and respond to, then this is what she gets. If she were my child, I'd tell her "Well, there's a lesson for you about people. Keep that in mind." I wouldn't be angry or anything. I mean, do I expect people to NOT respond to my kid?

I hate when I see facebook s/n like Lisa "so blessed" williams or John "God's miracle in progress" Smith shut the hell up.

And I hate seeing a facebook status similar to this: "I fell down a flight of stairs today but it was all apart of God's plan he did it because he loves me I just got out of the emergency room because thats where the lord wanted me at THANK YOU JESUS"
