I saw several blog posts about that protest, some which realized it was staged, and some that thought it was real.

It was a pretty effective Poe. The Christians complaining about it ought to think about the fact that if it wasn't plausible that there would be a group staging such a protest, no one would have believed it. It only makes them look bad because it's completely believable that some Christians would act that way.
