Do you wear atheist apparel in public?
There are some cute designs out there in regards to atheism.
My personal favorite is the Jesus fish on the grill and the evolution design in thinkatheist.com's store.
But, if I were to wear those things out in public where I live, I would probably get shot.
Do any of YOU wear atheist apparel in public? Do you get chastised for it?

I have been feeling a desire to wear apparel, and be more 'Out'. However, I fear for my well-being also.

I don't think we've reached that point yet in most areas of the US. There are too many zealots here and they have the right to bear arms here in the US. Bullet proof vests are heavy, hot and expensive and there not made with any atheist logos on them yet. Maybe soon, patience is necessary.

i recently got a tshirt that says "godless" in letters large enough to be impossible to miss. i haven't had anyone approach me or say anything to me but i have noticed people reading it. only one person turned her head to follow me as i walked past her. she had this entertaining expression that indicated to me that she was having a hard time fully processing the meaning.

I have this shirt I purchased from Torsopants with a Praying Mantis that isn't praying, it's just sitting with it's cute little mantis arms crossed indignantly and a disapproving look on its face. Underneath it says, "Atheist." (Hey - they still offer it at tshirthell!)
I laughed my head off when I saw it and bought it immediately, but it generally gets confused looks from the masses.
