Having watched Kirk Cameron's crocoduck discourse, I got to wondering if this guy really thinks that that is what a transitional fossil is, an intermediate species between ducks and crocodiles, bulls and frogs, etc.. Surely, this guy can't be that stupid, can he? It is utterly unfathomable that any half wit could even think that such was even possible. Is it that I vastly underestimated the depth of stupidity of which some people are capable? If he is truly that retarded, how does he survive? It just doesn't make sense. How can you possibly respond to such an inane question, it is so far from reality as to be psychotic. I would tend to believe he was joshing, but it appears he is sincere.

It's hard to tell if he and his mentor in Stupidity, Ray Comfort, are being dishonest or willfully ignorant. They have been presented the facts and have been shown why their arguments are asinine many times over. So, either they live up to the stereotype of the Christian shutting their eyes, covering their ears, and loudly saying "lalalalalala"....or they make a good living preying on the credulous, ignorant, and vulnerable. Either way, I find them despicable.

Reggie: So they are either stupid, evil or both?
Comment by Aric on September 23, 2009 at 10:39pm
I vote both.

@ Doug - Well, I imagine they can be both, but in Comfort and Cameron's case, I'd stick with an either or scenario. Personally, I'm vote for stupid. They're too stupid to know right from wrong, so "evil" is probably out.

I'm vote for stupid....ha! That should read "I vote for stupid". My fingers are stupid, too.

How is it possible to be that stupid and survive? Dogs aren't that stupid!

People have the ability to make dogs look smart by comparison.

LoL . . . yeah, I saw that too. Incredible.

What's his buddy's name? The guy with the banana? I thought the banana analogy was even funnier.

I tell you, if it weren't so funny, it would be downright scary.

I have no facts to back me up, but I really think Kirk Cameron is that stupid. I think Ray Comfort knows he is lying, but Kirk looks and sounds sincerely stupid.

It is utterly unfathomable that any half wit could even think that such was even possible.
Well yes, so they don't. That is their entire argument - "look at our funny strawman, how could you think this is possible?"

Is it that I vastly underestimated the depth of stupidity of which some people are capable?
Yes. Have you ever read comments on youtube? And like, people are like, just getting like stupider! (Apparently.)

When I encounter such incredible stupidity, I just remember what William Blake said: "What is grand is necessarily obscure to weak men. That which can be made explicit to the idiot is not worth my care." It makes me chuckle.
