Does anyone on Think Atheist have any advice/resources that could help me become a more effective essayist/story teller?  I am a good technical writer, as it is a requisite for my majors in college.  However, I would like to use short stories and essays to talk about my ideas regarding religion, science, philosophy, etc, and I have no time in my schedule for such a class.  I have tried to write out my ideas in the past, but quit due to frustration, said frustration coming from wondering whether or not I am being clear/doing it right.  I have no shortage of ideas, so I am not asking "How do I become creative".  I am a song writer and arranger in my spare time (though I am not a lyricist), so I know what works well in that context. I am simply asking for help in execution.

Any helpful responses will be greatly appreciated.
