Of all the forms of alternative medicine, homeopathy seems to take the cake as the most irrational and logic defying. The primary principle of homeopathy is that heavily diluting a substance in water makes the active ingredient more potent. Homeopathic "medicine" is really just very expensive water. Here is an experiment that I thought of that tests the validity of the principles of homeopathy. It can be performed at your average college party. Pour a few shots of vodka or other hard liquor into a cup. Take a larger cup, fill it up with water, put a tiny drop of hard liquor in it, and stir it up. Give the cup with the liquor to one guy. Give the homeopathic solution to another guy. Have them quickly drink the entire contents of their cups. If homeopathy is true, then the guy who drank the diluted solution should get way more drunk than the guy who just drank multiple shots of vodka.
