Christian Voice call for Ban on Twilight's Calendar.

Christian Voice says mixing religion with the cult vampire series is ‘deeply offensive’ to Christians.

‘It’s sickening to see the message of Jesus Christ being hijacked to peddle a brand like Twilight, which to all intents and purposes proclaims an anti-religious cult,’ said Stephen Green, national
director of the group.

Finally - something that people of all faiths (or lack thereof) can agree on. Could Twilight be the catalyst for world peace and global harmony?

You never know haha! Who would have thought that the catalyst we needed was an unusually camp blend of blend of bestiality and necrophilia?

Although what we have with twilight is a book covering the supression of intrinsic urges topped off with ritualistic vampirism to further the search for imortality. Sounds kind of familiar doesn't it?

If Ms Meyer had put that much thought into these piles of angst-ridden mush I'll eat my hat.

Well first I'll go buy a hat, THEN I'll eat it.

As much as I hate Twilight, the Christians really should still see about getting their buttholes unclogged.

@Mario: First we must unite with the Christians to crush Team Edward. I mean, like, Jacob is soooooo much better for Bella. Like, totally! *twirls finger in hair - stares vacantly off into space - tweets about tweeting*

Wait. How can a religious group ban anything in the U.S?
I can understand boycotting it. But what? Do they intend to make it illegal? Huh?
Comment by Eoganacht on December 7, 2010 at 1:05am
It wouldnt have been the first time that a religious majority managed to ban things.
