I had this really perverse idea that it would be wickedly entertaining to visit this site and arrange a meeting with that compatible person that Gawd has been "keeping" just for you. You get to know them and then after a couple dates start asking those leading religious questions that ultimately makes them develop a sense of uneasiness and uncomfortable awareness. The different avenues of approach are limitless. Of course I realize this could be properly regarded as unethical as hell and something only a despicable atheist would dream of. I would venture that it has already happened. But why would Gawd not warn the unknowing victim of their impending dupe? Huh?

side note: in my experience Christian chicks are the freakiest in bed, as if the forbiddenness makes it more pleasurable or something

I once knew two guys in a chat program that had both pretended to be lesbian women, and had  hooked up with each other and fallen in love.  After 8 months - yes isn't that incredible? one of them confessed to the fact he was male, but seriously still in love with the other one.  The other one reacted rather badly and ended the relationship.  Two weeks later, he came out with the same confession.  I found the whole thing really bizarre, and kind of funny in a Machiavellian way, although it was also rather sad in another, kinder way.

I wouldn't wish emotional deception on anyone, and I certainly wouldn't instigate it.  That is just unkind and unpalatable and not within my scope of acceptability.

Just hope her big brother (with the shotgun) ain't watchin'.

I'd feel like I was stalking if I did something like that. And who knows, maybe the girl that falls for it happens to have had a traumatic history with males, which isn't that unusual.

Might get a bigger bang out of your buck if you pretend to be a female, and surprise a Christian guy.

Theists have already commited themselves to such a difficult ideology, being more unkind to them seems like more brimstone added to a heavy guilt meal. Over cooking is not likely to bring out the best flavor of theist. Better that they stay more raw, and less feed.

Just go ahead and do it.

I will forgive you your sins (I'm a swell guy that way :)).

Who knows you might get lucky and have a nice time.

@ Lewal

"I could spin it and say there's some nobility in it (showing them the beauty of reality or something), but it'd be a stretch."

I would doubt any dating service Christian you dupe is going to see the nobility of your mission. If you've actually joined ChristianMingle then maybe you could answer some questions. Is there a user agreement you must sign to join? Do they specifically ask if you're genuinely seeking a Christian companion?

Cruel, but fair...

Not seeing the upside to this. It seems like it would be a waste of time. I personally hate it when people try to convert me, no matter how subtle they think they are being. also I think wasting people's time is a "sin" lol

I get sick and tired of that xianmingle .com  commercial on CNN.  They think they're better than everybody else when it's more like one delusional person looking for another.   I wonder what would happen if atheists made a commercial called   atheistmingle.com   I bet there'd be a huge uproar and tv stations in America wouldn't likely display them.

We could call it "Atheist Co-mingle.com".

"A place to find your 'Mate', male or female, humanist or atheist, available or not. You could wait for the Universe to find your 'mate' by random chance or the laundro-mat, but we suggest that our pro-active, 'Scientific' approach, might get the job done faster with less fuse, and no demand on your common sense. Fill out our on-line 82 deminsional questioneer, and let us do the rest. You are only days away from finding that perfect someone/something that will float your boat, and curl your toes! No 'god' need be applied!"
