Christian Cruelty in modern times

The brief of the story is that the Butte, Montana plane crash that killed 14, including 7 children, has been linked to retribution by God. The family is related to a man who owns a line of abortion clinics. The plane crashed into a Catholic cemetery and the conclusion was drawn immediately that it was God.
Christians hold themselves up on the shoulders of a loving God. I don't see it. I read the Bible and find vitriol and hate "Do not think that I come to bring peace, but a sword." Jesus's love? When referring to a Canaanite woman Jesus refers to her as a dog. This is a level of hate that I would never tolerate from a friend let alone my leader. Somehow Christians get love out of this gibberish. Christians are exemplified in this article that revels in the death of humans for ideology based on coincidental evidence. As if this abortion clinic owner would never suffer if it weren't for the glory of God!
Biblically if God couldn't defeat an army because they had chariots of steel (Judges 1:19), what are the chances he's capable of taking down a plane?
A little decorum and respect for others in their time of grief would be the ultimate example of love of humanity, not dancing on their graves.

Gingi Edmonds is an evil evil person. As PZ puts it "There is no humanity left in these sanctimonious creatures, it's been bled out and replaced with fanaticism and dogma."

A true twist of ironic justice would be if officials investigated Edmonds for a possible act of terrorism. After all she quotes herself telling Feldkamp 'Think of your children.' And in her article says "We warned him, for his children's sake, to wash his hands of the innocent blood he assisted in spilling."

Any person who thinks that their god would punish seven innocent children for the 'sins' of their grandfather is truly deranged.

Somehow Christians get love out of this gibberish.

The sad part of the faith is that most of the members are told of the love and peace of the faith and that's good enough for them. Most christians have not read the Bible in it's entirety and are unaware of all that hate a repulsiveness that is actually in there. They just here the same cherry picked excerpts in church every week. Sometime ignorance really is (eternal) bliss... What these hate mongers are claiming is plain disrespectful. Let the family grieve in peace.
