I found this article to be very interesting as it basically blames the social times of the 60s and 70s in America for the prolonged problem of sex abuse to young boys from Priests. More notable, there isn't one mention in the study (says the LA Times) that celibacy itself plays a role. Not surprising the Catholics (Vatican) would denote any such allegation that any of their stringent practices, especially the aforementioned one, would have anything to do with anyone in their organization doing such sinful things. Another round of excuses from a terribly flawed, but nevertheless, still powerful system of faith.
