I heard about this study. It was partially funded and "overseen" by the Bishops so the results are not surprising.  It's more BS from the church to make excuses for these heinous crimes and their resulting inaction. It makes me sick!

Of course. It's everybody's fault except the church's. First they blame the gays, then they blamed the non-catholics, now they're blaming some long gone by social movement. How long until they actually take some fucking responsibility? Anyone who still believes the word the catholic church said is either stupid, delusional, sociopathic, or some combination of the three. I wonder who they'll blame when everyone who lived in the 60's or 70's is dead. What half-assed excuse will they come up with then, when their hierarchy is still filled with rapists, as I'm sure it will be since they don't seem to be doing anything to change.
